Who We Are (About Us)
Guru Nanak Gurdwara Belfast has served the Sikh community since 1998, growing from humble beginnings into a welcoming Gurdwara Sahib rooted in faith, seva, and togetherness. Centred on Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji, we exist to bring people together for prayer, kirtan, reflection, and langar, while upholding equality, humility, and respect for all.
From the earliest days in a modest house to our present home in Duncairn Gardens, our purpose has remained the same: to support the sangat, preserve Sikh values, and offer a warm, inclusive space for every visitor.

Serving Faith, Community, Equality, and Shared Belonging
Our mission is to provide a respectful spiritual home where the sangat can gather in prayer, hear kirtan, share langar, and stay connected to Sikh teachings. We aim to strengthen community life in Belfast through seva, welcome, compassion, and a commitment to dignity, inclusion, and care for everyone who visits.
Building A Welcoming Future Rooted In Sikhi
Our vision is for Guru Nanak Gurdwara Belfast to remain a trusted place of worship and community connection for generations to come. We hope every person who enters feels peace, respect, and belonging, while the next generation continues to carry forward Sikh values, learning, service, unity, and responsibility with confidence.

I had never been to a Gurdwara before, so I appreciated how approachable everyone was. The space felt peaceful, clean, and cared for. What stayed with me most was the sense of equality throughout. It felt sincere, thoughtful, and welcoming.
